Aspen Meadows of McCarthy B&B

McCarthy No. 42, Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, Alaska, USA

Fodor’s Expert Review

Three miles before the Kennicott River footbridge to McCarthy, this bed-and-breakfast comprising four stand-alone cabins provides a cozy bed, a roof overhead, and a feel for Alaskan wilderness life. The hosts, Bonnie and Rick, make guests feel instantly at home, and they provide an economical way to sleep pleasantly after a day of adventure and exploration. Two cabins are rustic, bare-bones affairs, and two have some amenities.
