Fodor's Expert Review Microbrasserie La Memphré

Magog Brewpubs/Beer Gardens

Named after the monster said to lurk in Lake Memphrémagog, La Memphré dates back to the 1800s, when it belonged to Magog's first mayor. Now a microbrewery, it serves Swiss-cheese fondue, sausages with beer mustard, onion soup, and panini—all good accompaniments for a cold one. Hope for a train to go by when you're in the restaurant: if you hear the horns, a pitcher of house beer is only C$12!
