Fodor's Expert Review Le Café du Clocher Penché
An amiable staff and inventive bistro cuisine (without pretentious fluff) make this establishment a local favorite. The high ceilings and imposing vault door give away the fact that this was once a bank. The popular C$18 weekend brunch menu is one of the most original in town, filled with surprising, lovely dishes with fun names. During lunch, the restaurant is packed with suits and skirts who munch on well-prepared salads, pasta, and daily specials. Dinner draws the date-night crowd and groups of friends out for a fun, casual meal. The menu changes often, but the ingredients are always fresh and from Québec.
