Fodor's Expert Review Chez Muffy
This restaurant, inside the museumlike Auberge Saint-Antoine, has stone walls and attractive wooden floors and exposed beams from the building's warehouse days. Chef Julien Ouellet creates menus that change with the seasons, but fresh, locally sourced ingredients are at the core of the classic, elegant menu. For a true feast, your table can order the Seasonal tasting menu for C$85 per person. The wine list draws from a 12,000-bottle cellar, with well-chosen cuvées coming from all over the world. Previously called Panache, the restaurant turned to a slightly more casual atmosphere and changed its name, using the nickname of the owners' mother, Martha Bate Price.
