Fodor's Review

Authentic Quebecois food is the specialty at this tiny greasy spoon that's been in business since 1938. Sit at the long counter and make your way through a filling breakfast of eggs, ham, toast, and, as the restaurant's name suggests—beans. At lunch, hearty options include meatballs stew, pigs' feet, tourtière (meat pie), and pork. Or opt for the "Assiette Québécoise" and get a taste of everything. Binerie Mont-Royal’s fare is cheap and filling, and the staff is charming.
