The Chen family has owned Spadina Garden for more than a decade, and the restaurant's Szechuan, Hunan, and Peking dishes are Toronto classics. The menu is over 200 dishes strong, so there's something for everyone, from hot-and-sour soup to spicy peanut tofu, though the crispy, chili-laced shrimp, chicken, and calamari dishes are a highlight. The dining room itself is peaceful, with standard black lacquer, high-back chairs, and red paper lanterns.
