Fodor's Review

The town of Barrington, on the mainland side of the Cape Sable Island Causeway, has several old buildings along Highway 3 that are worth visiting. These include the Woolen Mill Museum, at No. 2368; the Old Meeting House, at No. 2408, where gatherings, elections, and religious services were held; the Seal Island Light Museum, at No. 2410, which occupies a replica lighthouse; and the Western Counties Military Museum, at No. 2401. They are all administered by the Cape Sable Historical Society, based in the Old Courthouse at No. 2401.
