One of five haciendas in Marriott's Luxury Collection, this former cattle ranch has fully restored guest rooms on landscaped grounds. You'll feel as if you've stepped back in time with architectural flourishes like 18-foot ceilings, exposed beams, wooden double doors, canopy beds, and tile floors. Draped across sitting areas are woven hammocks held by bulbous pegs. The master suite has a private pool and sprawling garden, but Room No. 9 is most requested due to the massive ceiba tree growing through the ceiling. For a true Maya experience, request one of the of the palapa villas transformed into deluxe accommodations. Separating this hacienda from the others in Marriott's collection is its periwinkle-blue facade and jungle setting.
