Fodor's Expert Review Mariscos Tino's
Editor's Note: This property is currently undergoing renovations.
This casual, open-air branch of Tino's is set on a beach and is hugely popular with locals and tourists alike. Tino's is full even midweek, mainly with groups of friends or businesspeople leisurely discussing deals. The seafood is excellent: Try the ceviche-like aguachile, shrimp marinated with lime, tomatoes, chili, onions, cilantro, and cucumber. Don't miss the fish sarandeado, a regional specialty of snapper or sea bass rubbed with citrus and herbs and cooked over a wood fire. For non-seafood fans, the chicken fajitas and rib-eye steak are great options.
