The two most popular activities are snorkeling tours to Deer Island and parasailing—nearly every hotel offers both, along with kayak and Jet Ski rentals. A few outfitters, including the Aqua Sport Center, offer scuba, but Mazatlán is not a popular diving area.

AquaSport Center offers banana boat and parasailing rides and rents WaveRunners, kayaks, Boogie boards, and sailboats. Its staffers can also arrange half-day trimaran trips to Isla de los Venados aboard the Kolonahe, docked at El Cid Marina. Av. The 4-acre Parque Acuático Mazagua has slides, wading pools, and a wave pool as well as picnic facilities with barbecue grills. Entrance is about $12 per person; the park is open 10–6 Wednesday through Sunday for most of the year and daily in July, August, and during school holidays. Av.
