Fodor's Expert Review Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort
Carretera Transpeninsular, Km 19.5, Tourist Corridor, Baja California Sur 23400, México See on Map
Rooms are spacious at this hacienda-style Hilton built on one of the Corridor's few swim-friendly beaches. It's a multipurpose, business-friendly, wedding-friendly, kids-friendly hotel. The infinity pool is beautiful, and all four restaurants serve outstanding food, especially Vela. Groups and families make up most of the clientele here. Four meeting rooms will accommodate up to 600. In the guest rooms, elaborate headboards, luxurious linens, and L'Occitane bath products are lovely touches to a resort that has an edge on most properties in this price category.
room
King-size beds and private balconies with Sea of Cortés views are standard for most rooms and suites, which also showcase elegant appointments from Santa Monica based hospitality design firm HBA.
bathroom
His and Hers sinks, designer soaps and shampoos, and decadent whirlpool style tubs headline the upscale amenities in the oversized bathrooms.
lobby
Guests enter via a large courtyard with welcoming fountain that leads into the airy interior lobby, home to check-in and concierge services, a gift shop, and the colorful Azul lounge.
pool
Two spacious pools offer swim-up bars and seaside views, plus plenty of sunny service.

spa
The pampering facilities at Eforea Spa are highlighted by 11 individual treatment rooms, and a full range of hydrotherapy options (including a sauna, steam room, and whirlpools).
gym
The fitness center is fitted out with cardio-friendly treadmills and ellipticals, as well as a healthy selection of free weights and resistance equipment. A movement studio is available for yoga, Zumba, and other aerobic exercises.
In addition to its well-appointed fitness center, Hilton offers two outdoor tennis courts, with lights for nighttime play.
dining
The two most notable on-site dining spots are El Mesón, known for its winning combo of fresh local seafood and spectacular Sea of Cortés views, and the poolside Vela, which specializes in Italian themed fare. Guests may also enjoy Mexican and American comfort food favorites at Madero, and coffee and snacks at Que Dulce! and Mio.
LOCATION
Getting Around
Shuttle service is available to and from the airport, but alternative transportation (bus service, rental cars) is a necessity for those who wish to visit Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, or other regional destinations.
Restaurants
Hilton boasts very good on-site restaurants, but committed foodies may also want to sample the world-class cuisine at nearby One&Only Palmilla (7-minutes by car along the Carretera Transpeninsular), home to restaurants from renowned chefs Jean-Georges Vongerichten (SEARED) and Larbi Dahrouch (Agua by Larbi).
WHY WE LIKE IT
Hilton’s size and excellent full-service amenities make it a great choice for both families and business travelers.
