Cabs wait at all the major hotels, and you can hail them on the street. The fixed rates run about MX$45–MX$70 within town; MX$70–MX$125 between town and the north hotel zone; MX$115–MX$350 between town and the south hotel zone; MX$140–MX$425 from most hotels to the airport; and MX$210–MX$350 from the northern hotels or town to Parque Chankanaab or Playa San Francisco. The cost from the Puerta Maya cruise-ship terminal by El Cid La Ceiba to San Miguel is about MX$140.
