Originally from Holland, Don Udo Van der Waag fell in love with the mountains around San Pedro Sula. Over the years his restaurant here has grown from a casual meeting place where the menu was scribbled on a chalkboard to one of the city's fanciest eateries. Along with excellent beers, you'll find a good selection of wines. Try the stuffed-crab appetizer followed by a tasty jalapeño fillet. Fresh lobster is another treat. If you want to re-create a dish at home, there's a gourmet food store next door.
