This west-side lodging away from the hubbub of downtown is mainly for business travelers, but makes a good base for leisure visitors, too. Rooms are a mix of sizes, but all have big windows, bright tropical colors, modern art, polished furniture, and armoires in addition to ample closet space. It’s ideal to have a car if you stay here, but with the huge parking lot—a rarity among San José hotels—you have a secure place to leave your vehicle if you decide to take a taxi into town.
