Fodor's Review

By the creators of Graffiti Restro, this laid-back bistro dishes up fresh salads, baked goods, nano brews, and gourmet sandwiches on artisanal brick-oven breads. It takes two hands to keep the portobello sandwich together, which is oozing with baby Swiss, caramelized onion, and organic spinach. Beautifully seared with a soy glaze, the tuna steak sandwich is topped with wasabi aioli and guacamole. Sides range from quinoa salad and fruit skewers to homemade potato chips and thick-cut fries. Garden cocktails are muddled with all sorts of goodness like honey, pear, lime, sage, rosemary, and basil. The breezy green spaces under Jacó’s oldest tree give the place a casual, airy feel indicative of the surf lifestyle. On Sunday mornings there’s free yoga at 9 followed by bottomless mimosas with brunch, and live reggae at 1. Be sure to check out the Nano Brew Closet where they make their hand-crafted beers. On your way out, grab one of the gigantic cookies with dark chunks of chocolate.
