Fodor's Review

Paper lanterns suspended over wooden tables and polished concrete floors bring rustic elegance to this A-frame restaurant supported by tree-trunk columns. The place has been a favorite for years and remains trendy. For starters, try the beet salad with blue cheese and candied walnuts or the tuna tartare with avocado and mango. Expect entrées like seared yellowfin tuna with wasabi aioli, filet mignon with caramelized onions and chimichurri, or homemade squid ink pasta with mussels, shrimp, and mahimahi in a garlic rosé sauce. Adding to the dining experience are refreshing cocktails, live music (Wednesdays 7–9 pm), and a delightful passion-fruit cheesecake and fried ice cream.
