Ask to see the amazing, nearly perpetually in-motion waterwheel at the river that provides water for the entire farm. Hotel guests have exclusive access to the Belize Bird Rescue, which rehabilitates the birds and, when possible, releases them back into the wild. At any one time, the avian rehabilitation center and bird sanctuary may have up to 200 birds on their farm near Belmopan, including as many as eight of the country's nine species of parrots, along with some owls, sea birds, and other raptor birds.
