Fodor's Expert Review The Truck Stop Food Park and Beer Garden

Created by American Ben Popik, The Truck Stop is five stationary food trucks that dish up Malaysian, "Nuevo Latino," pizza by Casa Picasso, and ice cream, plus a bar. The ice-cream truck has inventive flavors like bacon maple syrup, and some of the best ice cream on the island. Out back is a deck over the lagoon (the "Warning: Crocodiles" signs are not just decorative) where folks gather for the sunset. You can play corn hole with your kids or sunbathe with a Belikin. This isn't just for tourists; San Pedranos love this spot, too. Wednesday a film is shown over the lagoon, and every Sunday is a pig roast.
