Tucked away in the Turgutreis market, this tiny restaurant has a few cheery tables in the street and a small chalkboard menu of the day's offerings—home-cooked favorites like mantı (Turkish “ravioli” in a garlicky yogurt sauce), meatballs, stuffed vine leaves, and gözleme (savory Turkish-style crepes), all washed down with some pleasantly tart homemade lemonade. The same women’s collective that runs the restaurant also operates a shop around the corner selling their members’ handicrafts.
