Fodor's Expert Review Fes Café

$ The Bazaar Quarter and Environs Café

Squeezed into a former market stall in the heart of the Grand Bazaar, the small kitchen at Fes Café turns out simple sandwiches, salads, excellent fresh lemonade and fruit juices, homemade desserts, and other American-style fare. It's a great place to sit back and watch the comings and goings of the bazaar. A second, larger branch just outside the Bazaar on Ali Baba Türbe Sokak (No. 15/A) offers a fuller menu that includes salads, pastas, and meat dishes. It also houses a small boutique selling products by sister company Abdulla, along with interesting housewares and jewelry from young Turkish designers.
