Fodor's Expert Review Oaxen Krog & Slip
$$$
Djurgården
Swedish
This restaurant started out on the island of Oaxen in the Stockholm archipelago, where it earned a reputation as one of Sweden's best restaurants—guests were even known to arrive by helicopter on occasion. In 2013, the restaurant moved to a new, central Stockholm location on Djurgården, where its combination of seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and modern twists on classic Swedish cuisine has become more popular than ever. The restaurant is divided into two parts: Oaxen Krog ($$$$) offers fine dining with 6- and 10-course tasting menus, while Oaxen Slip ($$$) is a more casual gourmet bistro that's also open for lunch.
