Fodor's Expert Review Convento de Las Úrsulas
Salamanca
Religious Building/Site/Shrine
Archbishop Alonso de Fonseca I lies here, in this splendid Gothic-style marble tomb created by Diego de Siloe during the early 1500s on the outskirts of the historic center. Magnificent churrigueresque altarpieces depicting scenes in the life of Jesus were restored in 2014. The cloister is closed to the public as the convent is still active.
