Fodor's Expert Review Jardines de Nivaria
Calle Bruselas, Costa Adeje, Canary Islands, 38660, Spain
Step inside from views of Mt. Teide to a world of Tiffany glass, palms, and orchids crowned by the largest privately owned stained-glass window in the world. The stunning artwork, representing the constellations visible from this part of the island during the spring equinox, encloses a vast interior patio with a piano bar. The spacious rooms, housed in five separate blocks, have a refined (if slightly corporate) air, thanks to a 2016 renovation, and are appointed with large beds (request twins or a double), walk-in closets, and loungers on the terrace. All come with sea or garden views.
PROS
- stunning interior design
- tranquil atmosphere
- seafront location
- fantastic spa
CONS
- some may prefer a more modern style
- evening entertainment sometimes a snooze
- dinner always in the same dated restaurant
