Fodor's Review

If you're in Barcelona September–June, a chance to witness the celebrated FC Barcelona play soccer (preferably against Real Madrid, if you can get in) at Barcelona's gigantic stadium is a seminal Barcelona experience. Just the walk down to the field from the Diagonal with another 100,000 fans walking fast and hushed in electric anticipation is unforgettable. Games are normally played Saturday night at 9 or Sunday afternoon at 5, though there may be international Champions League games on Tuesday or Wednesday evening as well. A huge renovation project approved in 2014 for Camp Nou is still underway, giving the stadium a roof, increasing the seating capacity from 99,000 to 105,000–-and creating a "quality gastronomic space" in the first tier, for tapas and desserts, with a bird's-eye view of the pitch. Can't conjure up game tickets? At least take the guided tour of the FC Barcelona museum—one of the city's most visited tourist attractions—the grounds, and club facilities.
