Fodor's Review

This is a strong contender for the crown of Barcelona’s best bistro, as young chef Antonio Romero continues to turn out Catalan tapas and dishes that have roots in rustic classics but reach high modern standards of execution. The name is a twist on the Catalan sucar lent (to dip slowly), and excellent bread is duly provided to soak up the sauces. Choose from one of several set menus (€48–€55), of which the best is the full tasting menu. If you just want to pick a couple of dishes—one of which must be the steak tartare on marrow bone—sit at the bar. After dinner, head next door to their cocktail bar, Sol i Sombra, for an expertly mixed cocktail.
