This nonprofit organization was founded at the behest of the painter José Marí Rodríguez-Acosta. Inside a typical carmen, it houses works of art, archaeological finds, and a library collected by the Granada-born scholar Manuel Gómez-Moreno Martínez. Other exhibits include valuable and unique objects from Asian cultures and the prehistoric and classical eras.
