Fodor's Expert Review Adora Hotel

This is one of the few outstanding family-run boutique hotels around the city center; it is reasonably priced, very central, and boasts a wonderful courtyard in the back. The rooms are quaint and serene, if slightly small, and adorned with style and taste. The hotel is ever so slightly outside of the city center, for which it compensates with bike rental and, more importantly, beautiful quietness during the night. If driving to Ljubljana, be aware that the hotel does not have its own parking, but the staff can give you good tips on where to park at fair rates.
