Fodor's Expert Review Kylesku Hotel
Off A894, Scourie, Highland, IV27 4HW, Scotland
This charming hotel, looking out over Loch Glendhu and toward Eas Coul Aulin (Scotland's highest waterfall), has great service, excellent food, and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. It's an old coaching inn that dates back to 1680, so the rooms are a bit small, but they are nicely decorated and have modern bathrooms. The wood-burning stove makes the lounge a lovely place to relax with an afternoon coffee or an after-dinner book. From May to September a small boat departs from the slipway at the front of the hotel up the loch to the waterfall.
