Two miles south of the city center, this grand stone Victorian mansion overlooks the otter-populated water of Sound. The owners were born to run a B&B and have thought carefully about what makes a good stay. Plain but quality decor, good solid furniture, and a comfortable lounge with an open fire provide creature comforts, and firm beds help assure a good night's sleep. Breakfast is a mouthwatering spread of Shetland smoked salmon, porridge, and homemade jam.
