Fodor's Review

One branch of the restaurant chain that raised the standard of fish cookery in Glasgow some years ago, Two Fat Ladies is named after two famous TV cooks (or alternatively after the bingo call for number 88, the number of the first eatery in Dumbarton Road in the West End). The Blythswood Street branch is airier and more central than the others. The menu is predominantly fish, from the halibut with walnut-and-thyme crust to the lemon sole with samphire. But if fish doesn't rock your boat, then the beef fillet with cherry jus is also delicious.
