Leven Links. A fine Fife course that has been used as a British Open qualifier, Leven Links has a whiff of the more famous St. Andrews, with a hummocky terrain and a tang of salt in the air. The 1st and 18th holes share the same fairway, and the 18th green has a creek running beside it. Saturday play must be booked at least a week in advance. Lundin Golf Club. One of a string of fantastic links courses, Lundin Golf Club is a worthy addition to any Scottish golfing itinerary. Designed by the great James Braid, the course is always in prime condition and the greens are a joy. The pick of the holes is the par-3 14th, played from an elevated tee back toward the sea.
