This laid-back bistro, just a few minutes from Haymarket Station, has won a loyal following. Hardwood floors, stone walls, soft blue hues, and seaside paintings add to the coastal theme. Savory temptations include cod fillet with lemongrass broth or pork with polenta cakes. Vegetarians have more choice than the usual one or two options; the linguine with tomato and chili is deliciously piquant. The international wine list is as varied as the daily specials. Lunch and early-evening menus offer good value—any main dish for £10 or three courses for £15.50.
