Even the best music shops in St. Petersburg have a rather scruffy look about them, not to mention a cavalier attitude toward copyright law. Among the best sources for music is this chain, which sells a motley collection of Western and Russian rock and pop, plus DVDs and videos (the DVDs usually have an English-language option available, and many are without regional-zone coding).
