Fodor's Expert Review Mariana
This large, bustling restaurant near the beach at Afife, 10 km (6 miles) north of Viana, is renowned for its seafood, including a huge parilhada de peixe (mixed fish grill) with prawns and the house robalo (sea bass), which is cooked with seaweed. But the menu also dabbles in meat with tender coq au vin, made with a home-raised bird, and pá de porco assado, roast pork shoulder. For dessert, try the chocolate cake or crème caramel.
