Fodor's Expert Review Eurostars das Artes

Rua do Rosário 160–164, Porto, Porto, 4050-521, Portugal

With lots of cut-price deals, this slick Spanish-owned hotel is a well-priced option near the trendy shops of Rua Miguel Bombarda, halfway between downtown and the Casa da Música. Inside an elegant building that was once an art school, the interior is all clean lines, with marble in public areas and lots of wood and splashes of bright color in the soundproofed guest rooms. Breakfast is taken downstairs, in a room whose granite-framed windows look out onto a garden; upstairs, the bar has a large deck. As the hotel is quite small and attracts some Spanish tour groups, it's best to book ahead.
