Fodor's Review

In a row of eateries round the corner from the Feira da Ladra flea market, this place is so popular it has taken over two neighboring house numbers. The food here is well seasoned and mostly comes in portions large enough for two. The brothers who run the place are from the northern Beiras region, and many of the dishes here are meat-rich examples of its traditions, but there is plenty of seafood on the menu. On Sunday locals pile in for chocos à setubalense (Setubal-style fried battered cuttlefish). As for wine, the house red and slightly sparkling white come by the glass or jug; there are also pricier bottles.
