Fodor's Expert Review
Convenient, no-nonsense, and with few amenities (an elevator, though tiny, as well as free Wi-Fi, and free breakfast), this well-known budget choice has one great thing going for it: low rates.
Tip If you’re coming from Schiphol International Airport, take bus 197, which takes you almost all the way to the hotel for only €5.00 (get off at the Leidseplein stop).

Room
As you’d expect, rooms are small and the décor’s dated and (some say) a little musty smelling, but they’re clean enough and hopefully, you’re just here to lay down your head.
You Should Know Some rooms don’t seem to be all that well isolated, so noises from surrounding rooms may seep in.
Bathroom
Double rooms without private bathroom start at less than 100 euros, while those with an attached bathroom are slightly more.
You Should Know Some in-room bathrooms don’t allow for much modesty.
Lobby
There’s a reception with fresh flowers (and sometimes surly staff).
Dining
A Continental buffet breakfast (included) is served in a small breakfast room.
Drinking
No, but there are plenty of options in the area.
