Described as the only soundproofed place to stay in the Old Town, the Hotel Vardar is centrally located, some rooms having a view of the lovely main square where the hotel's restaurant offers a chance for people-watching in the shade of sun umbrellas. Bonuses include its sauna, Turkish bath, and small gym. Although the decor inside is bland, the stunning location could never be described as such. This is the sister hotel to the popular Restaurant Galion just outside the town walls, though the hotel's restaurant is much more affordable, with main courses at an average of €9 and a wide range of international dishes.
