Fodor's Expert Review La Paranza
From the piles of tiny bianchetti (young sardines) in oil and lemon that are part of the antipasto di mare, to the simple, perfectly grilled sea bass, fresh seafood in every shape and form is the specialty in this unfussy spot just off Santa Margherita's port. Mussels, clams, octopus, or whatever else is fresh that day is what's on the menu. Locals may say that this is the town's best restaurant, but if you're looking for a stylish evening out, look elsewhere—La Paranza is about food, not fashion.
