Renowned throughout Italy for its creative cuisine, Al Borgo has a modernist take on classics. Trentino specialties on the seasonal menu may include strangola preti (literally "priest-chokers," dumplings so heavy that they were considered unsuitable for the delicate throats of the clergy). You could try the simple tagliolini ai frutti di mare (long ribbons of pasta with shellfish), or in fall you might choose polentina (soft, creamy polenta) with a fondue of Trentino cheeses and truffles. The restaurant's interior is elegant and calm, with attractive art adorning the walls.
