Fodor's Expert Review Nibaru
Porto Cervo, Sardinia, 07021, Italy
Amid lush gardens on a secluded inlet, this complex of pinkish-red brick buildings with tiled roofs has the feel of a small resort—albeit one with fewer amenities and lower prices than most of the Costa Smeralda's full-scale resorts. Guest rooms are just a few yards from Nibaru's two compact pools, and a short drive from some good beaches. It's an easy drive to the exclusive Pevero Golf Club and the tennis courts of Porto Cervo. There's a two- or three-night minimum stay in high season.
