Fodor's Expert Review Cervo Hotel, Costa Smeralda Resort

Waterfront, Porto Cervo, Sardinia, 07020, Italy

Designed in 1963 by the architect Luigi Vietti, this Starwood property—next to the busy Piazzetta in the car-free heart of Porto Cervo—features low Mediterranean buildings with Spanish tile roofs surrounding a large pool and garden and spacious, white adobe rooms, most with a terrace, that have colorfully painted wood furniture and slip-covered sofas. The five tennis courts are lit at night. High-season prices (half board required) are through the roof, but prices plunge in winter.
