Fodor's Review

This massive structure is on a stretch of street that's gone from gritty clubland to popular night spot, thanks largely to Porto Fluviale, which has come to mean all things to all people: bar, café, pizzeria, lunch buffet, and lively evening restaurant. The food, too, is all-encompassing, featuring cuisine from all over Italy. As one might expect from such a cavernous, busy place, the service is not perfect, but it's a fun place to be and the food is tasty, from pizza made in wood-burning ovens to pasta and grilled meats and interesting salads. Cocktails at the bar, if you can get a spot, are a fun option—accompany your drink with cicchetti (the Venetian word for tapas-style snacks).
