Fodor's Review

An old standby in Prati, Hostaria da Cesare is dedicated to Roman culinary tradition. The general menu's tendency toward hearty, stick-to-your-ribs comfort food makes this a popular spot in the autumn and winter. Classic fish dishes like marinated fresh anchovies and sardines and an excellent mixed seafood salad quell seafood cravings. Homemade pasta with meat sauce is the primo to order, and the thick Florentine steak are the ultimate meat lover's dishes.
