Fodor's Expert Review De Santis
Whether you want to grab a quick sandwich, or linger with a glass of wine, since 1964, De Santis is the spot if you're hungry, any time of day. There's a selection of traditional sandwiches like Friulano with prosciutto, basil, tomato, and soft cow's milk cheese, and the Doralice with mortadella, fontina, and tomato. For something different you can try one of the options with smoked salmon, or Piedmont meat tartare. There are three other outposts throughout the city: Rinascente department store food hall, on Corso Magenta near Sant'Ambrogio (the original shop), and on Via San Carpoforo in Brera.
