At this pioneering restaurant just down from the bus stop, you can enjoy romantic outdoor seating overlooking the town square. The chef-owner, Franco, who has been here for about three decades, occasionally pops out of the kitchen to explain his original anchovy recipes—fried, marinated, colatura, and even in the bread. Book at least two days in advance, and Franco can prepare a typical menu from ancient Roman times.
