Bus Travel

Sterna has daily bus service from Reykjavík to the north. It's 4½ hours to Blönduós and 6½ hours to Akureyri. Service to Mývatn takes about an hour. SBA-Norðurleið runs bus service from Akureyri to Húsavík, which takes less than 1½ hours. The Akureyri bus terminal handles nationwide coach service.
