Located right off the beach in Kini, on a raised, whitewashed dining space lined with white curtains, Allou Yialou is known for its spectacular sunset dining. It's also where everyone goes for Greek dishes that take on a delightful and delicious gourmet twist. Chef Lina Fournistaki and her husband Yannis pay close attention to service, and the presentation is impressive. Appetizers to savor include crab salad with couscous; local boiled greens with lemon and ginger; and a beetroot salad with garlic yogurt. Their take on strapatsada (a traditional Greek egg dish similar to scrambled eggs) moves onto a new level to include fried potatoes, fresh tomatoes, and homemade sauce. Their seafood menu is complete with fresh fish selections and dishes like sea urchin spaghetti. Simply divine!
