Fodor's Expert Review Corfu Imperial Grecotel Exclusive Resort
Limni, Corfu, 49100, Greece Fodor's Choice
One of the most sumptuous resorts on Corfu, the Imperial complex juts into Kommeno Bay atop a 14-acre peninsula and is beautiful both inside and out. Stunningly luxurious rooms, bungalows, and villas (several with private pools) all have gilded Venetian-style headboards, painted wall murals, shimmering lights, and the best in interior volupté, while outside await the hotel's "exterior" decoration: a world of pools, lawns, and bay vistas that is an enchanting universe unto itself. The comfortably elegant guest rooms all have balconies with sea views, while windows reveal how the property blends harmoniously with the lush landscape of olive, palm, and cypress trees and colorful gardens. Another plus: three private, sandy beaches with "Blue Flag" clean-water designation. The ultimate, here, are the private villas—worth every extra euro.
