Nothing can beat the location—much objected to by environmentalists and archaeologists—on the beach beneath the Temple of Poseidon, above the very harbor where ancient ships once navigated, and all guest rooms have balconies, most have sea views, and a few gaze up at the temple. It's a just a 15-minute uphill walk to the ancient temple, and sun beds on the crowded-but-pretty sandy beach out front are free for guests.
